Client Recruitment, Pitch, & Content Management

MATTE's Strategic Expansion into NYC Real Estate

MATTE Projects is a leading New York branding and design agency that wished to expand its client base into the NYC real estate sector. It was particularly focused on winning the contract to remodel and refresh Top of the Rock at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, an iconic Manhattan real estate location, as it was undergoing a long-term renovation.

Collaboration with EGV for the Top of the Rock Project

MATTE engaged EGV to both directly participate and actively support the effort to persuade  Tishman Speyer (the owner) to hire MATTE, and to draft and refine the content for the pitch deck and final installations for the Top of the Rock location. CEO Alexandra Stanton’s involvement was particularly sought, as her lifelong involvement in NYC real estate supplemented MATTE’s executive team’s business profile, as well as her personal associations with the senior Tishman management team over many years and her deep knowledge of contemporary, diverse art.

EGV's Role Post-Contract and Expanded Collaboration

With EGV’s deep involvement, MATTE won the contract to refashion and rebrand Top of The Rock. EGV was then put in charge of drafting all signage, written, aural, and visual expression for the site, to be presented to the owners. Subsequently, MATTE engaged EGV to participate in several other Manhattan real estate projects, both to design and produce the content of the pitches and participate directly in client recruitment.
